I am writing to express my gratitiude for your support of Displaced Homemaker programs in the FY12 State of New Jersey Budget. These vital programs will be able to continue to serve the needs of women and facilities in the State of New Jersey in the coming year...In these difficult economic times women wo have primarily been in the home face even greater challenges when they attempt to return to work. Without current expereience or contacts in the work world they find "getting a foot in the door" extremely difficult. Most do not qualify for any of the "safety net" programs such as unemployment as they struggle to survive. For a minimal cost to the state many lives are rescued and supported by our 15 Displaced Homemaker programs statewide...Thank you again for your continued support.
